A recipe from Whole Foods. It’s always good to be reminded that apples are great in salads.
Ingredients:
4 cups shredded cabbage 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper 2 Gala apples, cored and very thinly sliced 1/2 cup walnuts, toasted and chopped
Preparation:
In a large bowl, toss together cabbage, vinegar, salt and pepper. Just before serving, add apples and walnuts and toss again.
