assembled from a lot of different recipes, this is our favorite cole slaw recipe. The result isn’t overly sweet. The sugar, however, is optional.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup mayo 2 tablespoons sour cream 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard 2 teaspoons sugar (or honey) 1/2 head cabbage, sliced thin 1/4 to 1/2 onion, sliced thin 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
Preparation:
Salt cut cabbage and let rest for 1 hour. While waiting, mix all other ingredients.
Rinse cabbage well. Spin to dry. Mix with cream & serve.
