Happy Pigs
Riverview Farms’ pork is celebrated for its flavor and marbling. We started out with Berkshires over 20 years ago, and have since added Chester Whites, Durocs and others to our breeding stock.
Our pigs spend their entire lives on our farm in the Appalachian Foothills. They roam the pastures. Wallow in muddy puddles. Root around in the woods. We import nothing: everything our animals eat is grown organically on the farm.
Want to try our pork before you buy in bulk? Visit us Saturday mornings at the Freedom Farmers Market and the Morningside Farmers Market. Both markets are in Atlanta. Our pork is also available through our produce CSA subscriptions.
Easy Online Ordering
Step 1: Reserve
Make a deposit at this link and schedule delivery. Bulk pork is sold in 1/2 animal increments. For a whole pig, order 2 halves.
We deliver bulk pork orders on Fridays. Animals are processed on Wednesday that week.
Most 1/2 pig bulk orders result in 70-90 pounds of packages, based on the size of the animal. Expect 2-3 large bags of meat.
Step 2: (optional)
Reach out to us with any special requests. If ordering a whole animal, let us know how you want it prepped.
Otherwise, orders automatically include all of our standard cuts, individually wrapped. Expect lots of bone-in pork chops (2 per package), sausage, Boston butt roasts, shoulder roasts, ham roasts, one rack of ribs and one tenderloin. We can accommodate substitutions such as pork loin roast instead of pork chops, whole belly, and ground pork instead of sausage.
We don’t typically include the trotters, skin and head, but can add them to the delivery if requested.
Step 3: Delivery
Bulk orders are cut and wrapped on Thursdays, and overnight in the butcher’s freezer before Friday delivery. We recommend that someone be home to accept the delivery, which usually happens mid-day Friday.
Step 4: Final Charges
We process the final charge based upon the hanging weight of the animal. The hanging weight is higher than the total weight of the cuts delivered because we don’t deliver skin, heads, trotters (generally).
We intentionally keep the bulk price per pound low to compensate for pieces not normally delivered. It saves us a lot of time weighing the individual packages, and saves you money. Our retail prices for the different cuts are over twice the bulk price per pound!

“Tonight was my first taste of Riverview Farms delicious pig and I am VERY happy!! I started with pork chops. I noticed a deeper color, firmness and increased marblization. Even raw, it looked like it was going to be better than what I get at the store. Grilled it to 145ish degrees and enjoyed it with no extra seasoning, not even salt. It was super tender and delicious!
